Welcome and Announcements

† Call to Worship Jeff Rodriguez
Leader: The Lord calls us into His presence.
People: We come with humility and gratitude.
Leader: Our gracious God sets a table before us.
People: In and by Christ we are fed and given a new covenant.
Leader: As his people, how are we to respond?
People: We come before our Great God to worship him.
Leader: It is good to worship God.
All: Let us worship our God, the source of our Good and the Hope for eternity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

† The Prayer of Adoration (In unison, from Psalm 149)

As his faithful people we praise the Lord. The Lord takes delight in his people. He crowns the humble with victory. As His faithful people we rejoice in this honor. The Lord alone delivers divine justice, and vengeance. We sing praise to the Lord and rejoice in our Maker. Dear Lord, enter every trembling heart. Amen.

†Hymn of Adoration # 366 Love Divine, All Loves Excelling

Prayer of Confession (In unison)
Gracious God, the writer of Matthew is specific in how the church should deal with sin. We take it seriously when it is written that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven. We hear the words, our hearts try, but we stumble, and falter and forget. We do not live and love and forgive as Christ did. As this flock we confess our sins as a group, and now we bring our individual confessions to you in silence...
(In unison) Lord, we know you are with us in this hour. We seek your mercy and forgiveness. We pray this in the precious name of our Savior. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon New Creations in Christ
