People: From our homes, we come into a Holy space. 

Leader: Hear the Lord’s appeal, agree with one another, live in peace. 

People: The God of Love and Peace will be with us. 

Unison: The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the 

Communion of the Holy Spirit are with us. We are here to worship.

Holy Son, when you took the disciples to the mountain in Galilee you said that all authority in heaven and earth had been given to you. You asked us to make disci-ples of all nations. You told us to remember that you are with us always, to the end of the age. We find comfort in the work you have given us and in the assurance of your never-ending love. Lord God you are our help and our hope and we give you all praise, honor and glory. Amen.

Prayer of Confession (In unison) Lord, in these challenging days, we are sorry for those moments when we doubt your timeless dominion. We are sorry when fear or anger diverts our hearts gaze from you. We are sorry when this world takes us from the practice of your love and mercy. We are sorry when we do not help the Spirit fire to burn injustice. Please hear our silent confessions… 

(In unison) Lord help us to recall all those times in history when trouble has plagued this world and when people of faith have met the challenge. Fill us with the light of Christ, to brighten this world. Amen
