Welcome and Announcements

† Call to Worship (In unison)
Our Creator God is the source of all wisdom. God has given us this day for rest. We pause now as we continue the journey toward the Cross. In this hour we come for nurture, to give praise, to lift our prayers, to study the Word. From many places we come to this space to worship.

Prayer of the Day (In unison)
All powerful God, as we walk with the Lord on this journey we live, as always, in your presence. We travel with the Savior seeking to know His heart and Your will. Help us discern how we shall live, and act, to show the world who you are. Help us reflect the Christ light. You are the source of our breath, and you are our destiny. Help us become a beacon of hope, a lamp for the heart and a light for the feet. Amen.

†Hymn of Praise # 767 Together We Serve

Prayer of Confession (In unison)
Lord you offer us our salvation, but we find it hard to be a follower of Jesus. To walk his path, we must be confrontational. Do we confront our ego’s desires? Do we challenge our resentments, our hurt pride, our sense of entitlement? Do we speak for you when we should? Do we put ourselves into the fray when we see injustice, exploitation, or abuse? Lord we take this moment to offer our silent confessions… (In unison) Lord, help us to live as examples of God’s radical grace. Help us to strengthen the Body of Christ. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon New Creations in Christ
